Manzell
Born on October 28, 1991, in Charleston, SC. Manzell, a young hip hop artist who constantly faces temptation throughout his college life experience tells his listeners about each of his struggles by dropping bars. Listen to the lyrics of his tracks to follow his Christian lifestyle as he prioritizes his life, seeking ways to give glory to God, while building a stronger relationship with Jesus.
"I remember riding to elementary school with Outkast, Dre, Snoop, Busta, and a lot of the top industrial artists blasting through my dad's 10" subs. I'd rap their verses along with having the correct voice inflections. It's nice to watch hip-hop become redeemed over time."

Past Tense
Born 12/15/1984 in Chicago, IL. I moved to a community located on the Northeast side of the city called Uptown when I was 10 years old. It was there that I started attending a youth group at Uptown Baptist Church. Even though I grew up in church, it was not until 7th grade when I really understood the importance of the Gospel, committing my life to Jesus.
I started a hip hop group in high school called DieVerse. The group consisted of 3 original members: Cornelius Taylor (aka Pasttense), Christopher Almodovar (aka Fiftalent) and Jovan Wade (aka Ransom). We added a fourth member Miguel Beltran later on. I eventually went on to pursue a Bachelor's of Science at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, whereas the music was placed on hold. Everyone in the group eventually went their separate ways. I still support all of my DieVerse family. Chris "Fiftalent" Almodovar is currently pursing his career as a solo artist, working with artists such as the 108 crew.
